Chemring Energetics UK Ltd is pleased to announce that it has today signed a new Long-Term Agreement with Martin-Baker Aircraft Company Ltd to supply propellant material and pyro-mechanical devices for use in a wide range of Martin-Baker’s ejection seats.
Martin-Baker manufactures over 100,000 cartridges and 7,000 rocket motors every year using propellant material provided by Chemring Energetics. Managing Director, Stuart Cameron FRAeS, said “Since Chemring began supplying Martin-Baker with energetic material, over 500 aircrew lives have been saved worldwide. I am delighted to make such a contribution to aviation safety in general and extremely pleased to see the F-35 is fitted with the Martin-Baker US16E ejection seat”.
