The design facility at Chemring Countermeasures is fully computerised utilising various systems including; AutoDesk Inventor Series
- Inventor
- Mechanical Desk Top
- AutoCad Mechanical
- CAD/CAM Software for the transfer of parametric designs to CNC equipment.
- A number of specialist software packages are utilised for stress analysis, strength of design and performance calculations and finite elemental analysis.
The facility is complemented by a desktop publishing unit with document and photograph scanners for the production of technical manuals, specifications and other project documentation.
