Impulse Cartridge PW11 Mk 2
Description
The Impulse Cartridge is electrically initiated and used for the ejection of countermeasures installed in aircraft countermeasure systems to combat guided missiles and tracking systems.
The cartridge can be used as an alternative to the cartridges impulse type M-796, type BBU-35/B and PW11 Mk1 used in passive expendable decoy dispensers to give improved reliability, a wider operating temperature range and reduced variability in ejection velocity.
The PW11 Mk 2 version of the Impulse Cartridge gives reduced variation in ejection velocity over a wide temperature range.
