Impulse Cartridge PW11 Mk 2a
Description
The PW11 Mk2a Impulse Cartridge is an electrically initiated cartridge used for the ejection of countermeasures installed in aircraft countermeasure systems to combat RF and IR missiles.
The cartridge is suitable for use in AN/ALE 40, 45, and 47 series, M130/M147, Terma, MES, Rokar, SAAB Avitronics and Thales systems for example.
The PW11 Mk 2a is a bespoke Impulse Cartridge that is built to a high specification enabling the ejection velocity to be closely controlled. The quality of the alchromate coating gives an extended shelf life over similar products.
The Mk 2a is fitted with an integral 'O' ring to provide a waterproof seal and is standard fitment to the range of Chemring Countermeasure Modular Expendable Block products and waterproof RR170 with squib.
