AIR DAY 2010 – Celebrates RNAS Yeovilton 70th Anniversary

9th-10th July 2010International Air Day featuring many historic and modern aircraft types to celebrate RNAS Yeovilton’s 70th Anniversary on Saturday 10th July, offering an opportunity to look back on the 70 glorious years. Yeovilton based Commando Sea King and Lynx helicopters and other Maritime Squadrons will demonstrate their capabilities in the infamous Commando Assault Demonstration with plenty of pyrotechnics! The RAF and Army as well as foreign military participants will also provide fast jet displays, static aircraft, aerobatic display teams and historic fly pasts.
