Chemring Countermeasures is based in the beautiful countryside just outside the city of Salisbury. The company employs 400 people in many different disciplines across the site. Areas of employment include Research and Development, Sales and Marketing, Production Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Quality, Logistics and Despatch, Manufacturing, Operations, Finance, IT and Human Resources. All manufacturing areas of the company work a four day week or a four night week, leaving a long weekend free to enjoy the many attractions of the area. The support areas of the company work a four and a half day week.
Holiday entitlement is offered at 23 days for 4 day week employees and 25 days for 4.5 day week employees and a defined contribution pension scheme is also available to employees. The company is an approved ISO 9001 organisation and strives to maintain high standards of training and development for all employees through a comprehensive appraisal and development programme.
