
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a twin engine, canard-delta wing, multirole aircraft, designed and built by a consortium of three companies: Alenia Aeronauctica, BAE Systems, and EADS; working through a holding company, Eurofighter GmbH, which was formed in 1986.
Chemring Countermeasures is the sole source provider of both RF and IR decoys for the Typhoon. The Typhoon expendable countermeasure suite consists of bespoke 55mm flares and special to type BOL Chaff Cassettes for use in the BOL Dispenser fitted to an adpated missile launcher.
