No individual will be excluded from receiving training on the grounds of age, sex, colour, grade or any other criteria, which could be deemed as discriminatory or divisive. Currently the Company are investigating Local Enterprise Partnerships, Apprenticeships, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and Industrial Placement Programmes with a view to rolling out these programmes in the near future.
Comprehensive Induction training will be carried out for all new employees and will include Safety and Environmental requirements. All new employees are given an induction into the company, broken down into 3 stages. Stage 1 will take place on day 1 of employment which will last the morning. Stage 2-3 will commence on the second week and onwards of employment.
All support staff will have an annual Performance Appraisal to assess performance during the previous year and agree objectives for the forthcoming year. The objectives must be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timed. Progress is reviewed on a regular basis throughout the year.
