Over many years Chemring Countermeasures has built up a comprehensive set of Environmental test and evaluation facilities for hazardous/explosive test items that cover Climatic testing, Dynamic testing, Shock/Bump, Wheeled vehicle Transportation Bounce Test and Free fall Impact Drop Test.
Chemring Countermeasures is the UK MoD’s design authority for all air IR decoys and chaff products, and the Eurofighter design authority for the Typhoon chaff and flare decoys.

Chemring Countermeasures latest naval innovations encompass a wide range of payloads and rounds including extended frequency range chaff and multi-payloads which can include obscurants. The rounds also have system controlled variable height and range payload deployment, that benefit from improved algorithms.
