IR Measurement and Related Equipment
Chemring Countermeasures provides and maintains a diverse range of measurement equipment to monitor product performance.
The equipment includes but is not limited to;
- Twin Agema 900 Infrared measurement system (3-5µm & 8-14µm)
- A single Agema 880 Infrared measurement system (8µm - 14µm)
- An HGH infrared scanning spectrometer (1.5µm - 14.5µm)
- A Rees UV-Vis-NIR spectroradiometer (0.2µm - 1.5µm)
- Two x Twin band radiometers one MCT and 3 InSb.
- Laser range finder
- Tilt and Turn Table
- Large area low temperature black body source
- PC based data logging system

Most of the measurement equipment is transportable for off site field measurement use.
Additionally the technology department also utilises miscellaneous data capture, digital video recording and analysis computers as expected for the measurement and assessment of a wide range of pyrotechnic based products.
