Design Facility
The design facility at Chemring Countermeasures is fully computerised utilising various systems including;
AutoDesk Inventor Series
• Inventor
• Mechanical Desk Top
• AutoCad Mechanical
• CAD/CAM Software for the transfer of parametric designs to CNC equipment.
• A number of specialist software packages are utilised for stress analysis, strength of design and performance calculations and finite elemental analysis.
The facility is complemented by a desktop publishing unit with document and photograph scanners for the production of technical manuals, specifications and other project documentation.
